Dot's BBQ Brisket


  • 3 pounds beef brisket
  • 2 tbsp liquid smoke
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp onion salt or powder
  • 2 tsp celery salt or seed
  • 2 tbsp  Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 1 cup barbeque sauce

Marinate the brisket overnight with everything but salt, pepper and barbeque sauce.

Before cooking add salt and pepper. Cover with tin foil.

Cook for 4 1/2 hours at 300 degrees. Add sauce and leave uncovered last hour.
